Diesel Mechanic Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure maximum reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic software and traditional methods to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and brake adjustments.
- Repairs: Overhaul or replace engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, suspensions, and braking systems (including air brakes).
- System Testing: Conduct test drives and use specialized equipment to verify that repairs are completed to OEM standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all service work, parts used, and labor hours in our digital tracking system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA and company safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Technician.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in troubleshooting fuel injection systems, exhaust after-treatment (DEF/DPF), and electrical schematics.
- Tools: Possession of a personal set of basic mechanical tools.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for long periods.
